Course Aim

The course aims to develop learner’s critical thinking and analytical skills to make informed and sound decisions in the field of international trade finance.  Learners will apply specialized topics and use critical analytics to solve global trade finance scenarios and problems. The course will also allow the learners to plan and undertake research-based tasks, to develop and provide recommendations on various trade finance issues and case-studies from international market perspectives.

2 Apply specialized theories, concepts and different methods of payment used in international trade finance.
3 Critically analyse a variety of financing options available for international trade, such as trade finance loans, factoring, forfaiting, and manage the problems and risks associated with international trade transactions.
4 Develop a professional level in oral and written communication formats with substantial responsibility for individual and group work on complex and undefined business problems in the field of international trade finance.
