To equip students with detailed knowledge of Distillation Process in Petroleum Engineering for Industrial Applications, Petroleum Refining Process, Gas Processing & Petrochemicals, also enable students to demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the fire and gas detection systems, applied to protect personnel and process plant and to provide students with the advanced knowledge of methods and techniques used in emergency shutdown and protection systems, for both operational shutdown at the plant and remote shutdown at the control center.
