Course Aim

To provide students with detailed knowledge of fundamentals and some advanced topics and applications in reservoir engineering such as rock and fluid properties, also to equip the students with the detailed knowledge of the oil and gas production facilities and their separation technology in the petroleum refining industry and to provide learners with advanced knowledge in well drilling methods, equipment and planning as well as the hydrocarbon resources, extraction, technology and process

1 Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the types of hydrocarbon resources, required characteristics and extraction of hydrocarbon for economic production

3 Communicate the well drilling techniques, practices and planning in well manner to convey complex information incorporating industry standards and environmental issues
4 Evaluate the oil and gas separation technologies and applications in industry
