Course Aim

The aim of this course is to enable students to develop a critical understanding of the potential and limitations of Learning  and Talent  Development in work and to reflect critically on theory and practice from an ethical and professional standpoint. The course will also provide students with the practical skills required to organise and manage the Learning and Talent Development in different organizational contexts.

1 Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Learning and Talent Development and its importance within the organisation.
2 Acquire and apply a range of practical, transferable and problem-solving skills to the Learning and Talent Development function to achieve goals and objectives in a given organisational context.
3 Critically reflect on experience as in the role of professional HR Practitioner.

  • Pre Requisite: BU7002 or BSB6002, & 15 credits at Level 7 (or BPQF Level 6 or a combination thereof) from the Bachelor of Business
