Course Aim

The course aims to provide students with deep knowledge on different aspects of modern cloud database technologies: architecture, design, scalability, and real-time capability. Students will review different database models during the course, namely relational, NoSQL, wide-column, and document databases. They will learn how to design, deploy, and integrate cloud-based and cloud-agnostic databases for complex applications like e-commerce, IoT, and social media analytics.
