Course Aim |
This course aims to provide a solid statistical foundation for data science by equipping students with the techniques and tools required to preprocess raw data, including data wrangling and munging, using Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas. Students will gain hands-on experience with latest data visualization tools to perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and derive insights. The course also covers statistical inference, prediction using statistical tests, and the estimation of statistical parameters, culminating in an introduction to time series analysis to prepare students for tackling real-world data-driven challenges.
