This course aims to develop student skills in Cloud infrastructure, Cloud deployment and service models. The students will be able to identify the architecture and infrastructure as a foundation of Cloud Computing, differentiate between Cloud Computing types which mainly include Public, Private and Hybrid. Analyze and evaluate common issues and suggest appropriate solutions.
Learning and Teaching Strategies
This course will be delivered in a blended learning environment consisting of a range of guided activities which require weekly completion. Small-group tutorials/workshops will be conducted prior to each assessment.
This course does not lend itself to a PBL approach due to the human resources required and the nature of the content.
Use of AI tools is permitted to review and refine outcomes from standard practices taught in the degree and practiced in the profession. Students can use it for general
purposes of improving academic skills, developing digital and AI literacy skills, and enhancement of overall teaching-learning process.
Examples of the above include but are not limited to:
- Brainstorming and initial ideation for critical examination and evaluation
- Production of summaries or syntheses
- Comprehension checks for the meanings of complex terms or concepts
- Analysis of data, contents, and recurring patterns
- Creation and enhancement images and other artworks
- Creation of codes
