The course on Production Planning and Inventory Control aims to introduce students to the core concepts and techniques fundamental to effective production management. It covers essential components such as forecasting, master scheduling, Material requirements planning, and capacity management, all of which contribute to the creation of an integrated production system and will develop practical skills in production scheduling and resource allocation, learning how to create and manage schedules while adapting to demand fluctuations, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
