Course Aim

The aim of this course is to provide students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies. The course focuses on critically evaluating and applying these technologies to solve complex engineering challenges, analysing material properties and processing impacts, and comparing additive manufacturing with conventional methods. Additionally, it aims to promote an understanding of the broader societal and industrial implications of these technologies, including their role in promoting sustainability, innovation, and inclusivity in modern manufacturing.
