Course Aim

The aim of a course in data analytics in supply chain management is to equip students or professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively leverage data analytics techniques and tools within the context of supply chain operations.

1 Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of data analysis processes, concepts and investigative techniques that enable decision making in supply chain and logistics fields.
2 Apply specialist level concepts and techniques to integrate data from multiple sources to create a unified dataset for analysis.
3 Perform exploratory data analysis to discover patterns, relationships, and anomalies in supply chain datasets.
4 Critically evaluate and solve supply chain problems, such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization using some specialist data analytics techniques.
5 Operate at advanced level as an individual and in teams applying ethical principles in data analytics, including data privacy, security, and responsible use of data.
