The course aims to further develop learner's preparatory skills in developing a robust research proposal using appropriate literary sources, research methodologies, research plan, and research writing. Learners will submit a final research project that critically assesses, analyses and addresses research gaps or problems within the general scope of international trade and strategy. Learners choose from one of two tracks: 1. applied research project undertaken in the workplace or 2. thesis project aligned more in academic practice with opportunity to publish. Both tracks have the same level of rigor, research structure and time commitment but offer learners greater flexibility to conduct research according to their own specializations and contexts.
