Course Aim

This course aims to provide learners specialised-level skills to be able to evaluate construction projects and develop cash flows for construction projects. Students will learn the different project management or financial analysis tools and apply them, with the aid of computer application such as Microsoft Excel, to evaluate construction projects. Students will learn how to analyse scenarios, perform calculations, with the aid of computer application such as Microsoft Excel, and formulate conclusions to be able to develop cash flows for construction projects. As students work on and analyse different problems and scenarios, their critical thinking skills will be enhanced. Moreover, as students work in teams, their sense of responsibility for their own work and for their team will be improved.
