The course aims to integrate specialized knowledge and advanced practical skills required in the design, manufacturing and testing of an electronic-based product to industry standards.

1 Demonstrate critical knowledge of the theoretical concepts utilized for different design techniques to prototype an electronic product that optimizes the manufacturing and testing processes.
2 Apply specialist testing skills to evaluate a prototype electronic product against accepted industry standards.
3 Critically analyze the design and testing results to identify and implement improvements in the cost and performance effectiveness of an electronic product.
4 Produce a technical report that documents the design and testing process of an electronic prototype subject to a variety of constraints and conforming to industry standards.
