Course Aim

This course will provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed decisions regarding equipment maintenance needs based on condition monitoring data. This course covers a range of topics, including the theory and application of various predictive maintenance (PM) technologies, data analytics, signal processing, machine learning techniques, and vibration analysis. Additionally, the course focuses on improving skills in areas like vibration analysis, alignment, and balancing through computer-based training programs. The ultimate goal is to enable students to develop and apply machine learning algorithms effectively for fault detection in complex systems based on condition monitoring data.
